Tara Bernardo

About Me:

Originally from Bermuda, Tara moved to the Cayman Islands in 1992. Tara is a bright cookie and has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours degree from the Truman Bodden Law School and recently graduated from the Professional Practice Course with a distinction. Her recent move into Real Estate, where she can practice her attention to detail and focus on making sure everything during the transaction process is perfect, are just a few of the transferable skills from Tara’s academic background to her new role. What makes Tara special however, is her intimate knowledge on where to find the industry buzz, which areas on Island are the ‘new big thing’ and delving into her trusted network of both professional and personal contacts. She is somewhat of a social butterfly too, keeping her pulse on what's moving and shaking in Cayman.  What can people expect from listing or placing their rental needs with Tara? She’s honest, hard -working and trust worthy, with a genuine love for real estate. Tara believes the relationship between a relator and their client is the most vital component along with significant negotiating skills and a prevalent reputation among buyers and this is where her specific set of skills come into play…  What Tara won’t tell you about herself…  She loves anything to do with Star Wars or science fiction.  She was the President of the Truman Bodden Student Society from 2012-2014 and this was a major influence on her personal development.  Outside of work - Fitness and health are Tara’s passions outside work.  She has been a Crossfit member for over 7 years and finds the methodology an inspiration for self-determination and strength.  Spending time with her son, family and friends is also a priority when not working hard.
